British Airways franchise - South Africa
12 April 2016 Comair ground staff strike Wednesday 13 April, 2016 starting 4:40 pm till issue is resolved. Comair will have a contingency plan in place at Or Tambo Airport.

23 September 2015 Delays of 1 - 1 1/2 hours due to baggage handler strike at Or Tambo today. Strike effecting South African Airways flights. Two flights left without luggage.
August 25, 2013 Or Tambo airport back in the news today. Starting tomorrow, 6am, South African airport workers and refuellers will strike. Only a matter of time before flights will be delayed. Call them. We will be updating as the days go on. SAA Strike. Workers have been told to not demonstrate on airport property. (Still nothing to stop them blocking airport roads)
